Easy to access, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great

The location is great, only one block from a major subway station and an easy walk to lots of shops, restaurants, parks, and a night market. The breakfast had lots of food choices, and it varied on a seven-day rotation, so if you stayed for a week, you got some different things each day. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the AC and shower worked well. We really appreciated having access to a water dispenser (in the 8th floor breakfast room/lounge) so we could refill our reusable bottles and didn't have to use a lot of plastic. It was also great to have free clothes washers and dryers, with free detergent, available to guests. Our room on the 7th floor swayed a lot during the big April 3 earthquake and aftershocks, but everything seemed undamaged, so that's a plus!

They had free self-service laundry and a nice simple snack and coffee bar for all guests. The location was perfect (even local friends were praised its location) staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Its unassuming exterior should not phase anyone. We were all pleasantly surprised by what the hotel had to offer. Don't just stay in the usual Ximending where all other tourists choose; Zhongshan's equally great if not better.

First of all the front desk always helpful, special thanks to Sara and Rita for their good recommendation for thing to see and eat. I had some problem with the plumbing (smell) in my room, that got taken care off straight away. Breakfast was good with a variety of Asian and Western food. You have coffee and tea all day and there is use of a free washing machine and dryer, you can't ask for more. Next door is a familymart, like a 7- eleven and that is very handy

Because of its location close to public transportation, this hotel is the best choice if you want to spend the weekend relaxing and comfortable either alone or with loved ones. The room is so spacious with complete hotel facilities. In addition, the most special part is that we will be greeted and given good and friendly service by the hotel staff. Then, the thing that shouldn't be missed is the breakfast menu here is very suitable for me and of course the food is so delicious. There is a choice of food menus that are friendly for Muslim guests too.

The response from the hotel is fast. The staff at the reception and cafeteria are very friendly and courteous. The house keeping staff did a good job. Check in and check out is swift. The hotel is located in a quiet lane just 1 minute walk from the busy street. There is a family mart just beside. The breakfast is considered good for me. Self service free laundry and hot beverages with snacks at level 8 of hotel. Just a few minutes walk to MTR Zhongshan.

First, it’s just a 5-10 min walk on foot from Songzhan station if you exit at #4, because this exit has escalator and elevator that is very convenient for the tourist/s with luggages. This hotel is nearby Taipei Main Station. It’s also accessible to a convenience store, malls, grocery stores, restaurants, and fast food stalls.

it really is in a good location in terms of getting to the train or bus station and also historically important areas of Taipei. Also, if I liked the unique top of the building that has a graded ceiling that adds to the curtains.
